MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL`S DESK – FIRST TERM 2016:
To all parents / guardians / stake holders and the general public.
I take this great opportunity to thank our Almighty God for His many blessings and provisions upon us as Hema High School – Chitago community. We have come to this far due to His grace and mercy. Further, I wish to thank parents, guardians and other stake holders for the moral and material support that you accorded us in 2015.
It is our strong hope that you will continue partnering with us in the year 2016 for much more greater achievements in our school. Kindly take note of the following important information about our programmes and state of affairs in the school:-
1) COMMENCEMENT OF FIRST TERM PROGRAMMES 2016
We are pleased to inform you that we have started first terms programmes well and without hitch. Our vibrant teaching staff is intact and quite set to deliver quality teaching services to the learners.
2) FORM ONE ADMISSIONS
The process of F1 admissions is ongoing. The demand for our school is overwhelming. The cut off marks for F1 admission is strictly 300 marks and above. We appreciate you for the great confidence you have in us.
3) CATS & CONTESTS
Continuous Assessment Tests and Contests with best performing schools have kicked off well.
4) CLASS CONFERENCES / CONSULTATIVE MEETINGS WITH PARENTS
The above activities have been scheduled as follows:-
(a) Form four – Feb, Thursday 4th 2016
(b) Form Three – Feb, Tuesday 9th 2016
(c) Form Two – Feb, Thursday 11th 2016
(d) Form One – march Tuesday 1st 2016
All the above consultative meetings are quite critical and parents are requested to attend in person without failure. Meetings will start at 8.30 a,m.
5) DRILLING BOREHOLE
We`ve been experiencing inconsistent supply of water in the school. We are delighted to inform you that we have finalized logistics for sinking a borehole. In this respect the said drilling of borehole will be accomplished before the end of the Month of Feb, 2016. This measure will be a big break through by the school and it will ensure adequate and continuous water supply to our students. We also anticipate that this measure will enhance improved academic performance in the school as students will no longer be stressed by water shortage.
6) INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN THE SCHOOL
In order to address infrastructure constraints and especially classes, we are about to complete two storey structure that will provide six classes. This structure will be ready for use by MARCH 4TH 2016.
We are happy to inform parents and well-wishers that the school funds drive that had been postponed last year is now scheduled to take place on March, Friday 4th 2016.
We appeal to all our well-wishers to support us so that we raise funds to enable us to complete the boys` five storey complex dormitory which had stalled.
In conclusion, I thank all those who have been supporting us. May God richly bless you indeed. We will continue updating you on our operations.
Thank you indeed.
PRINCIPAL / BOM SECRETARY.
